Groundbreaking concert recording from 1990 from the time of the legendary »Haus der Lüge« album. On November 24, 1990, Einstürzende Neubauten played in the classical line-up of Blixa Bargeld, F. M. Einheit, Mark Chung, N. U. Unruh and Alexander Hacke in the Philipshalle in Düsseldorf. The Rockpalast concert was recorded by WDR in proven quality, the various cameras are very close when the balance wheel and unit handle tin covers and drills. Therefore, as with all Rockpalast DVDs, the picture and sound quality is excellent. The CD also contains the audio tracks. For the 2018 re-pressing, all tracks were remastered. The band had released their phenomenal fifth, trend-setting album »Haus der Lüge« the year before. At the time of the performance, they were still in the eighties, so to speak, and the formation had not yet become a feuilleton darling. Among the 16 pieces are well-known classics such as "Yü-Gung", "Destroyed Cell", "Drawings of the Patient O. T.", "Longing", "Feurio", "Drinking Song" and - of course as a conclusion - "Last Beast in the Sky". The spectacle is rounded off by unpublished photos and detailed liner notes in the booklet.
