Elis Regina: Elis 180 g Vinyl LP Neu
Released in 1972 on Philips Records, »Elis« was the first album by singer Elis Regina to be produced by Roberto Menescal. The well-known guitarist also helped her choose the repertoire, which includes many contemporary songs by young composers as well as some of her most significant hits. Among them was a version of Tom Jobim's "Águas de Março", which she was to record again two years later in duet with the composer for the joint album "Elis & Tom". At the same time, Elis worked here for the first time with the arranger and pianist César Camargo Mariano, who later became her second husband. For the new edition on black vinyl, João Marcello Bôscoli, one of the singer's sons, has remixed and mastered this extraordinary album.
