FEUERSCHWANZ continue their triumphal march and release their twelfth studio album Knightclub. With their modern folk metal, the band has played its way to the top of the genre in recent years: the last two albums Memento Mori (2021) and Fegefeuer (2023) each entered the official German album charts at number 1, the last headline tours were almost completely sold out, they played premium slots at the biggest festivals and their songs and videos are streamed millions of times. Just one of many highlights was the 20th anniversary show at the end of 2024 - the biggest Metfest of all time in front of over 7000 enthusiastic fans. On Knightclub, FEUERSCHWANZ continue the path they have already taken on the last albums. The band has undergone an impressive transformation in recent years and is now not only releasing a studio album with an English title for the first time, but is also increasingly using the English language in the lyrics. Knightclub is characterized by hits with catchy tunes, absolute party mood, big anthems and hard metal riffs. Once again, they manage to let their unmistakable humor flow into songs bursting with energy. The title track "Knightclub" is a real hit, which has not only put an audience of millions all over Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest preliminary round in a party mood, but will also put you in a good mood at every metal party. On the album version, the band is supported by Dag-Alexis Kopplin from SDP on vocals. Songs like "Valhalla" and "Avalon", on the other hand, are epic anthems and show the more serious side of the band. On "Valhalla" FEUERSCHWANZ are supported by Doro Pesch and Miracle of Sound. "The Tale of Sam The Brave" takes you to Middle-earth, while "Name of the Rose" sings about another literary classic. The long before released "Lords Of Fyre" feat. Lord of the Lost is a harbinger of the joint co-headline tour of the two bands through seven German cities and with "Gangnam Style" once again a cover version of a well-known party hit should not be missing. Knightclub was produced by Simon Michael (Subway To Sally) and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Arch Enemy, Volbeat, Evergrey). The cover artwork was penned by Peter Sallai (Powerwolf, Sabaton, Saxon, Hammerfall). With Knightclub, FEUERSCHWANZ cement their status as the hottest band in Germany and prove that they have reached the top with great anthems, catchy party hits and metal sounds, paired with a big pinch of humor typical of FEUERSCHWANZ.
