Supernature is the third studio album by the English electronic music duo Goldfrapp, released on August 17, 2005, by Mute Records. The album received generally positive reviews, with most critics praising its blend of pop and electronic music. It debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart with 52,976 copies sold in its first week and was certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. Supernature has sold one million copies worldwide. The album's lead single, "Ooh La La," reached number four on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the duo's highest-charting single to date. The album spawned three further singles: "Number 1," "Ride a White Horse," and "Fly Me Away." In North America, where "Number 1" was promoted as the lead single, the album was released on March 7, 2006, and peaked at number 138 on the chart. Supernature was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2007.
