Kettcar could have made it easy for themselves with their third album. A bit of introspection here, a little sensitivity there, carefully groping for the soul and exploring one's own well-being. But instead of providing answers, the Hamburg indie rockers prefer to ask questions on "Sylt". Instead of me and you, an angry "we" speaks, mercilessly describing what is going wrong. "Sylt" is a realistic and therefore sometimes gloomy chronicle. The musical cards were also reshuffled. "Sylt" has nothing homely about it, the album makes noise and is rousing, danceable and passionate. And when an infernal guitar feedback makes the first beginning chorus die in the tube, then one of those magical moments arises in which everything fits. Because Kettcar may have changed, but they are still the same band. And what a problem.
