Kreator spent a total of three years working on their new, and now 14th, studio album. "Gods Of Violence" was finally finished in 2017.

After the German thrash metal band had recorded all their songs and pre-produced them back in 2015, they headed to Sweden, more precisely to Fascination Street Studios, where star producer Jens Bogren, an old acquaintance, was behind the mixing console.

The result is a total of eleven new tracks by Kreator, in which Mille Petrozza (vocals, guitar), Sami Yli-Sirniö (guitar), Christian »Speesy« Giesler (bass) and Jürgen »Ventor« Reil (drums) are not heard completely alone.

Besides the Italian death metal band Fleshgod Apocalypse, there are two absolute surprise guests on »Gods Of Violence«: the twelve-year-old harpist Tekla-Li Wadensten and the Swiss pop and Schlager singer Dagobert.

With the title track »Gods Of Violence«, Kreator already presented a first taste of the new album in November 2016.
