When Little Green Cars were talking about the title of their 2nd album, they discovered a poem that was exactly what the band wanted to say with their new album – the poem is called Ephemera and as soon as singer Stevie Appleby read the poem to his bandmates, it was decided to call the album that.
Years of touring, new and old relationships, and other upheavals took place in the 2 years following their debut album, Absolute Zero. Little Green Cars are 5 friends who went to the same school in Dublin together, whose first album totally changed their lives.
In their early 20s, they are still the same 5 friends who met after school, but at the same time a changed band. These changes, growing up and the ups and downs of the last few years are reflected in the new album, warm, sometimes louder, sometimes quieter, but always with wonderful harmonies.
