There is nothing worse than bands that lose the "why" on their way. It's not easy to reinvent yourself as a band with every album, and so many bands fall into a rut of reproduction to meet expectations. It's different with Marathonmann. With each passing year, they become hungrier, more curious and at the same time more carefree. With their debut »Holzschwert« (2012), they have proven their independence. On »... and we forget what lies ahead of us" (2014), the Munich-based company showed that its roots are strong enough to try out new things. On »Mein Leben gehört Dir«, the band carries their first two albums in their hearts, but at the same time creates a new, adult approach to songwriting. Never before have they sounded so close, so honest and tangible.
