Purple Haze started in Linköping in 1981. When singer Christer Göransson joined the band towards the end of the year, the name was changed to Genocide (after the number of the same name by Judas Priest). After a final name change to Mindless Sinner, the demo »Master Of Evil« was released in August 1983, which contains the title song as well as the tracks »Broken Freedom«, »Key Of Fortune« and »Screaming For Mercy«.
