Released in 1986, the album 'So' became one of those works that defined an entire era and was honoured with a whole series of multi-platinum awards worldwide (more than five million copies were sold in the USA alone). The first was the huge hit single 'Sledgehammer' and the accompanying groundbreaking video clip, which is still the most played by MTV ever. 'So' also contains other striking hits, including 'In Your Eyes', which was also used in Cameron Crowe's directorial debut 'Teen Lover', as well as the enchanting duet with Kate Bush, 'Don't Give Up', and finally 'Big Time'. Prominent musicians such as Laurie Anderson, Stewart Copeland, Daniel Lanois, Jim Kerr, Bill Laswell and Nile Rodgers contributed to the album recordings.
