The cover of »BRITPOP« features a painting of Robbie's iconic Glastonbury outfit from 1995 – a red tracksuit – and underlines the nostalgic reference to the Britpop era. Robbie describes the project as follows: "I wanted to write the album that I wanted to release right after I left Take That – in the heyday of Britpop. It's raw, guitar-heavy and even more anthemic than usual. I've worked with some of my musical heroes. There's a lot of ›Brit‹ in it – and of course a lot of ›pop‹. I'm very proud of this album and look forward to sharing it with my fans."
