Product description

Robert Plant's "Saving Grace," his first album with a new, top-notch band, is, as he calls it, "a songbook of the lost and the found." It was created during the lockdowns in "The Shire," when Plant's usual wanderings were almost entirely forbidden. In the English countryside, he found close contact with a group of musicians—singer Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, and cellist Barney Morse-Brown—who all shared a love for his evocative songs. Produced by Plant and the band, Saving Grace was recorded over six years in the Cotswolds and along the Welsh border. The album breathes new life into a treasure trove of songs by Memphis Minnie, Bob Mosley (Moby Grape), Blind Willie Johnson, The Low Anthem, Martha Scanlan, Sarah Siskind, and Low. New product
