Product description

Roger Daltrey's new solo album after 26 years None other than Roger Daltrey is back from the studio in 2018 with a new album. »As Long As I Have You« is the name of the first solo work of The Who founding member in no less than 26 years, the successor to »Rocks In The Head« from 1992. Daltrey worked on »As Long As I Have You« for a total of four years. The result is eleven songs between rock, soul and R'n'B, an exciting mix of brand new pieces and new interpretations of some of his favorite songs. And they come from Stevie Wonder, Dusty Springfield, Parliament, Stephen Stills and Nick Cave, among others. With the title song, the singer presented a first taste of his new album back in March. The entire tracklisting can be found below. Daltrey gets support on »As Long As I Have You« from keyboardist Mick Talbot and his bandmate Pete Townshend on guitar, with whom he was back in the studio for the first time in about ten years. The record was produced by Dave Eringa. In addition to the CD and the classic black LP, the album is also available exclusively at jpc on blue vinyl. Of course, only while stocks last. Without a doubt, one of the most important comebacks of the current music year: After a quarter of a century, Roger Daltrey will present a new album on his own in 2018: »As Long As I Have You«.
