Savages say yes Savages have been on stage together for just five years. On their first album in 2013, the London band around the French singer Jehnny Beth was still considered an insider tip or exciting newcomer. Comparisons with Joy Division, Siouxsie Sioux and the early Patti Smith show the importance that is already attributed to the band. With their second album »Adore Life«, the four women conquer the music world again – a suspenseful post-punk album that is in no way inferior to their debut »Silence Yourself« or their role models. On the contrary: Crisp riffs, pinpoint drums and uncompromising lyrics can be found on »Adore Life«. And the message, in contrast to many other post-punk bands, is surprisingly full of life. It's about love in all its facets, also about loving life and making things better. The Savages already expressed part of this message in punk garb with their singles »The Answer« and »Adore«.
