As the title suggests, "Live From Lexxi's Mom's Garage" was recorded last October at the garage of Lexxi's mother, Ms. Foxx (Bobbie Brown), in Los Angeles. And as befits a Steel Panther concert, the audience consists mainly of scantily clad female fans. In the musical part of the film, the band plays acoustic versions of their most famous hits such as "Party Like Tomorrow Is The End Of The World" or "Community Property" and even a new song with "Then You Came In".
Begleitet werden die vier Musiker dabei von einigen sehr hübschen Violinistinnen, die Schlagzeuger Stix salopp als 'very easy on the eyes' beschreibt. Zwischen den Songs gibt es immer wieder Sequenzen, in denen Sänger Michael Starr, Gitarrist Satchel, Bassist Lexxi Foxx und Schlagzeuger Stix Zadinia auschecken, wie sie wohl eine möglichst große Anzahl weiblicher Wesen zum Beischlaf überreden können und wie sie als größte Glam Rock Band seit 1985, die es nie gab, in 2016 den Alltag bestreiten.
