The folk metal institution Subway To Sally once again bundles all its strengths on their new album »Post Mortem« and convinces all along the line. For a long time, it didn't look like the Potsdamers would even deliver another long-player. They had never officially announced it, but actually after the last album »Himmelfahrt« it was supposed to be the end for Subway To Sally. After more than 30 years of band history, the Potsdamers were simply not sure what else they would have to say in terms of new and relevant things. In retrospect, this also explains the symbolic title. It was the outstanding reaction of fans and critics to »Ascension« that sparked new desire, energy and also lightness in the septet. So it was clear after the mostly sold-out tour that Subway To Sally were not at the end after all. The result of this new creative boost is the new album »Post Mortem«. The 13 songs provide a sharp analysis of the present, embedded in the band's characteristic soundscape.
