Supertramp were already extremely successful with their first five albums, but Breakfast In America exceeded all expectations. It sold millions of copies all over the world, won two Grammys and contained three chart successes with The Logical Song, Take the Long Way Home and Goodbye Stranger. Supertramp deliver catchy, condensed and cleverly constructed pop hits, combined with the distinctive falsetto vocals of Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies' playing on the electric piano. Supertramp releases the definitive vinyl pressings of their studio albums. The audio of "Breakfast In America" was transmitted at Abbey Road Studios by Miles Showell and overseen by the album's co-producer, Peter Henderson, where they cut the 1/2 speed master used to press the vinyl. The LP is pressed on 180 g black vinyl. It is the group's sixth studio album, released in 1979.
