The Australians are back: With »Currents«, the long-awaited successor to the successful album »Lonerism« is finally on the shelves. In their homeland, the band, founded in 2007, was already successful with their debut »Innerspeaker« from 2010, and the worldwide breakthrough came two years later. The latest work is also deeply rooted in the 1960s and 1970s. Rocking guitar sounds meet psychedelic wafting sound structures. »Currents« again offers psychedelic rock at its best – in the style of companions like MGMT or Temples.
