The second album of the American pop-punk band from 1999 is available for the first time as a European pressing thanks to SBÄM! The Ataris are an American punk rock and pop-punk band formed in 1995. The band rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s and shaped the melodic punk rock of the time. They combine fast punk riffs with catchy melodies and often emotional, personal lyrics that deal with youth, love, friendship and everyday experiences. The central member and founding member is Kris Roe, who forms the creative heart of the band as a singer and guitarist. Her breakthrough came in 2003 with the album "So Long, Astoria", the single "The Boys of Summer", a cover of the Don Henley hit, became one of her greatest successes and reached high chart positions in the USA and Europe.
