»Peaches!« by The Black Keys is the fourteenth studio album from the Akron duo (the sixth since 2019), a vibrant and raw collection of 10 songs that singer Dan Auerbach calls the band's »most natural record« since their 2002 debut »The Big Come Up«. In a similar DIY spirit, the album was recorded with all the musicians in the same room, with few overdubs, and it is the first album that the band has completely mixed themselves since 2006's »Magic Potion«. The selection of songs reflects the obsessive record collection of Auerbach and his bandmate Patrick Carney, which in recent years has expanded into an ongoing series of Record Hang DJ set dance parties, where they spin old 45s records for full, energetic dance floors in the coolest places in the world. The cover of »Peaches!« is based on an iconic image by Memphis-born photographer William Eggleston and marks the return of Patrick's brother Michael Carney, who is the art director.
