Limited to 1500 copies The Byrds were one of the first bands to combine the best of two different worlds. They combined the energy of the British Invasion with the musical elements of the contemporary folk movement. Along the way, they became pioneers of psychedelic and country rock, but were always able to remain recognizable thanks to their vocal melodies and sounding guitars. On their third album "Fifth Dimension" from 1966, the psych rock of "Eight Miles High" and "I See You" goes more in the direction of LSD; this is joined by a new preference for Indian raga. One of the most groundbreaking albums!
