Product description

The Offenders are celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2025! And for this milestone, they're not serving up yesterday's leftovers, but rather the brand-new, red-hot "Storm Over The Mainland." The Offenders' 10th album unites all the band's influences and styles from the last two decades in its new songs. From the driving offbeat of the pre-released January track "Partizani in Budapest" to the mandolin-infused folk-punk of "Off My Chest," from the classic, straight-forward ska-punk of "The Way The People Think" to the dominant guitar riffs of the punk-rock anthem "Sixteenth Round," it's the band's most diverse album to date. Sophisticated songwriting, catchy choruses, and a perfectly crafted, kick-ass sound are sure to get everyone moving on the dance floor, in front of the stage, or singing along at the top of their lungs! From the very beginning, The Offenders have used their music and concerts to engage with and support the anti-fascist and anti-racist movement worldwide. Whether in autonomous youth centers and other cultural institutions, squats, or the ultra scene at football matches across Europe – their message is clear and naturally reflected in their new songs. The Offenders are by no means a novelty act, even if their music certainly has plenty of that to offer. Perhaps that's what accounts for their success, credibility, and steadily growing popularity over the past 20 years: "Storm Over The Mainland" is definitely an album with attitude, a perfect fit for an anniversary.

Cheers & Ciao!

The Offenders were founded in 2005 in Cosenza (Italy) around the charismatic singer Valerio, and at the end of 2008 the band moved to their new adopted home in Berlin. Among their most influential and well-known underground hits are: "Hooligan Reggae" (a dancefloor classic from their debut album of the same name, which became a battle cry for anti-racist fans in stadiums worldwide) and "Marchez" (the rebellious sound of Class of Nations – with almost 2 million streams on Spotify alone). The Offenders have toured countless times throughout Europe, performed in Russia and China, and most recently in Mexico (January 2024). They are regular guests on international festival stages such as Mighty Sounds (Czech Republic), Rebellion (UK), Spirit from the Streets (Germany), Sjock (Belgium), Couvre Feu (France), Ruhrpott Rodeo (Germany), Los Almiros (Greece), Rudeboys Unity (Switzerland), and many more. They have shared the stage with artists including Bad Religion, NOFX, Korn, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Social Distortion, and UK.
