"Forevermore" is the eleventh iStudio album in the career of the multi-platinum group.Whitesnake are still one of the most successful rock groups of all time. Since the release of their self-titled album in 1987, which alone earned several platinum awards, and the two number one hit singles "Here I Go Again" and "Is This Love", the group has become an integral part of the rock and radio landscape. Whitesnake are an institution in the international music world and one of the few "old warhorses" who still produce credible albums today. Due to his eloquent, always well-groomed, British-polite manner, frontman David Coverdale is not only considered a rock idol, but also a much-admired gentleman in the rock business. Hardly any other musician deals with the topics of love and passion in his lyrics as charmingly as he does. Hardly anyone else underpins his lyrics so winningly with gripping blues and soul borrowings. Before Coverdale, who hails from Saltburn-By-Sea in central England, launched Whitesnake in 1977, he earned his first laurels as the lead singer of Deep Purple. When they disbanded in 1976, he began to write his own songs and founded Whitesnake a short time later. The debut album is still being produced by Roger Glover (also Deep Purple). Working with highly remunerated musicians still suits the rock gentleman today. Whitesnake's current line-up includes his long-time songwriting partner and guitarist Doug Aldrich, guitarist Reb Beach (Winger, Alice Cooper), drummer Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, Foreigner) and bassist Michael Devin (Lynch Mob).
